Jordan Marsh- AKA "Mr. Neckwrecker"

(Founder/Owner) Rice Lake, WI
Hunting and fishing has always been a major part of my life. Growing up in Northern Wisconsin has given me the opportunity to chase several species of wild game, as Wisconsin offers a wide variety of outdoors activities to enjoy. Since the days when I was a young child and being introduced into the outdoors by my father, Buck Marsh, I have been hooked ever since.
I have come a long ways since my first fishing, and hunting trip. I have gained a lot of knowledge, and yet I still have a lot to learn. That is one thing that drives me day in and day out, is the fact that you are never done learning, especially when it comes to hunting and fishing. Things change every year, day to day, and sometimes by the minute. Being able to adapt to changing situations, is what I believe is the difference that makes a successful outdoorsman. At 24 years of age, I have a college degree in Fisheries and Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, an Avid Tournament walleye fisherman, and a full time business owner of two companies, Clearwater Consulting, and Marsh Outdoors, keeps me on my toes and very busy 7 days a week. I spend hundreds of days each year in the field hunting and fishing. I like to stick the the 3 W's in life. Walleyes, Waterfowl, and Wild Turkey. Nothing gets me more excited then the head pounding of a monster walleye, the thunderizing gobble of a tom turkey, the crisp clucks of a canada goose on a cold morning's air, or the whine of a mallard duck. As producer and editor of the popular, and ever growing Neckwreckers DVD series, I want to be able to appeal to people all across the country. I want to produce quality, educational, but yet light sided material that everyone can enjoy. One thing I truly believe in, is introducing youth into the outdoors. Each year I do youth waterfowl, turkey, and deer hunts, as well as several fishing outings each year to give youth the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. I am now a volunteer for the Kids Cancer Research Foundation, and each year Marsh Outdoors will be doing fundraisers to donate to the fund.  I would like to thank you for visiting the site, and feel free to email me at any point with questions. marshoutdoors@gmail.com

Hunting is a major part of my life. At 19, and a full time college student at the University of North Dakota, I still find time to get out and do one of my favorite hobbies, hunt geese. I like to hunt ducks too, but I would rather hunt them in a field apposed to in the water. Watching geese "maple leaf" in as we call it gets my heart racing and actually forget what I am doing, calling in the geese with my MONEYMAKER from Fred Zink and Zink Calls. Shooting and watching the geese fall that I know I shot raises my confidence to shoot another honker. Shooting geese Marsh Outdoors style is awesome, with my co pro staff, my Dad and other friends. Trips to North Dakota make our experiences great too. I enjoy filming with my brother, whether it is for him, or taking turns in the field or in the water. Being on T.V. is an honor, and hopefully someday Marsh Outdoors will make it on national channels. One day I hope to make it on the Zink Calls Pro Staff with my brother, advertising their wonderful calls. Introduce a youth to the outdoors. They will appreciate it for a lifetime.

Hunting and fishing has become a major part of my life, especially in the past 20 years. Having two sons that live and breathe to hunt and fish. I find it very enjoyable to spend time with my family enjoying the outdoors, whether I am fishing walleyes on the local lakes with my son Jordan in the local tournaments, fishing in Canada on our annual father/son fishing trip, shooting geese around home, or enjoying time in North Dakota with my boys, and their friends, I enjoy every minute of it! I have been happily married to my lovely wife Wendy for 27 great years, as she is very understanding about our family being driven to hunt and fish. I own a used car lot in Rice Lake called Northtown Motors. I was born and raised in Rice Lake, and moved to Madison in my early 20's to go to college to become a barber. I moved back after graduation to come back up and enjoy the peaceful, quite, and serenity of Northwest Wisconsin. Filming with both of my boys has really opened my eyes to the true beauty we sometimes take for granted as outdoorsmen. Having the patience to let the birds work, taking the extra time to find the walleyes, helps me truly appreciate what our great natural resource really has to offer.

Hunting and fishing have always been a love and passion of mine since I was a young child.  The memories of tagging along with my dad during the Wisconsin deer season and turkey season will always stay with me.  At 12 years old I began hunting Whitetail Deer and Wild Turkeys in the great Wisconsin Northwoods.    From the time I have started hunting until this day I have never missed a deer or turkey season in Wisconsin.  As a 12 year old new hunter, I learned quickly that hunting was not just about harvesting an animal and more about enjoying the great outdoors.  To this day, I standby this thought and truly enjoy every chance I get to hunt or fish.
After I graduated High School, I moved from Barron, WI where I grew up, to Eau Claire, WI.  I now live in Eau Claire with my fiancé Megan, Chocolate Lab Chloe, and Black Lab Knight.  I am employed in Eau Claire and still take every opportunity I can to enjoy the outdoors.
As I have grown up I have gained a love for waterfowl hunting and upland bird hunting.  The feeling I get while watching my labs work a pheasant field is a feeling that I cannot describe and one that I crave.  Only other avid hunters and outdoorsman can describe the sense of joy and excitement you get while doing what you love to do in the outdoors.
Over the past few years, Jordan has introduced me to walleye fishing.  Jordan and I have fished walleye tournaments throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.  Through being introduced to walleye fishing, I have gained another new love for the outdoors and enjoy the excitement and time spent on the water.
The outdoors has helped me meet some of the greatest people in this country and has helped shape me into the person that I am today.    Enjoy the outdoors and take advantage of the opportunity to hunt or fish whenever you can.

Growing up in northern wisconsin on a small trout stream made the outdoors my life.  From the day I could tag along with my dad hunting, fishing and camping I was hooked.  He taught me at a young age to fish so everyday I headed to the river and fished every chance I had.  It was only time as I got older that my passion grew stronger for the outdoors.  My true passion is deer with a bow and turkeys.  I never miss a season and always willing to introduce some else to the outdoors.  Every spring I help out with the learn to turkey hunt program.  As a mentor we take out young kids and teach them how to hunt turkeys.  Its always enjoying seeing a young hunter with a big smile on his face after he has killed his first turkey.  I work for a construction company and only work 6 months out of the year.  The other six months Im in the woods or on the water.  After meeting Jordan and getting introduced to water fowl and big water walleyes opened my passion to more days in the field.

Celebrating my 1st birthday in the BWCA (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) was where it began. I was first introduced to the outdoors at the age of 3, being hoisted up the tree with a rope by my dad because I was unable to climb the tree pegs. Now twenty years old, I am the full time voluntary cameraman for Team Marsh Outdoors. Media and the Outdoors have always been and inspiration for me. Capturing the moment through a lens is the same rush and taking that whitetail with bow. Only waterfowl hunting once before; Jordan has introduced me to a whole new aspect of it that requires serious dedication. My passion is chasing Whitetails with non other than the bow itself.  For me, there’s nothing more adrenaline pumping  getting such a smart animal into bow range at natural movement, knowing you’ve just outsmarted their eyesight, hearing, and most of all incredible sense of smell.

Pro Staff- Stillwater, MN

Holt grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota and started hunting and fishing when he was 4 years old. Growing up, Holt only chased whitetails, pheasants, and small game. Now, he has expanded his chase to ducks, geese, grouse, and turkeys.
Holt comes from a long line of hunters- his grandfather, dad, and uncle grew up waterfowling and eventually got hooked on bow hunting.Holt is also passionate about fishing and mainly catches walleyes, crappies, bass, rainbow trout, and last but not least, muskies. His family targets fish on many different lake and rivers, but they also have there home-held spots.
Holt went to Woodie Camp (Waterfowl Education Camp) when he was 13 and has just recently started contest calling. His favorite place to hunt mallards or honkers is a Midwest fresh cut cornfield on a crisp November morning, with snow flurries and a slight northwest wind! He tries his best to stay ahead in school. School first, then the outdoors.

Hunting is one of my favorite hobbies.  At the age of 16 it is a real struggle to find time to get out in the blind.  Working my schedule around sports, school and family is tough, but I get out as much as possible,  mostly on the weekends.  From time to time I get a little "goose-itis" and stay home from school.  I started hunting at the age of ten when Jordan Marsh introduced me to waterfowl hunting.  I couldn't shoot at that age but loved to tag along.  I became one of the shooters at the age of 12.  It was crazy, listening to the Zink Calls bringing the honkers in to 10 yards and my dropping my first goose.  It couldn't have been any better.  My favorite place to goose hunt is in a corn field that has been combined,  and my favorite spot to duck hunt is in a small pond with the weather being slightly rainy and overcast.  The key to being a good outdoorsman is to put time into whatever you are doing, do it right and follow the rules.  From day one until now Jordan has taught me right from wrong and the skills needed to become an excellent hunter.  To be a good outdoorsman you need to start with following the rules.

Merrick Malach

Pro Staff- Green Bay, WI
I'm Capt. Merrick Malach. Growing up on the great lakes, shaped me into the big water fisherman I am today. Getting my  Captains license with a huge goal for me at a very young age. My great lakes career started first mating on two of the biggest sportfishing  companies on the great lakes , followed by getting my captains license and running a sportfishing boat for one of those companies. In 2005 I started fishing tournaments for salmon and walleyes. Traveling to nearly every great lake at least once a year is a big goal of mine chasing big trophy walleyes and line screaming king salmon. My open water year starts in february chasing reel screaming, aerobatic brown trout on and near the shores of lake Michigan. From March to May my main focus is on large walleyes in the pre and post spawn stages on the bay of Green Bay, with several tournament take place in those few months.  Lots of 10 + pound walleyes are not uncommon in spring season around here. In late May every year, I return back to the docks of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to start another year of fast action packed king salmon fishing, we literally put these fish to bed every night and wake them up the next morning. Pulling deepwater spinners for walleyes in the summer is also an awesome technique for putting big walleyes in the net around the waters of Green Bay. In those hot months, we usually fish 2 or 3 walleye tournament as well as 2 or 3 salmon tournaments out of different ports on green bay and lake michigan. After a long summer of salmon fishing early everyday ,come the cool winds of september when the bow comes out of the case and the decoys out of the trailer. I focus my time in september on hunting and getting my deer down to the bow season and do some honker hunting in between. Come October walleye fishing becomes priority number one again, chasing trophy eyes from Green Bay, Bay De Noc, all the way to far eastern lake ontario. Once we return from lake ontario in mid december the boat finally gets put away, and ice shack gets pulled out. And plans to start icing big walleyes and whitefish here on the bay take focus. The Great lakes are such a tremendous resource we have in our backyard and few people take advantage. Working with Marsh Outdoors, we hope to teach more people in the surrounding area how to take advantage of such an awesome resource, and put more trophy fish in the net each year. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have and the latest fishing report at,  hunter266@New.rr.com

Danny McLennan

Pro Staff- Rice Lake, WI
Im Danny McLennan, 24 years old from Rice Lake Wisconsin. Until later in high school, I knew nothing but whitetail hunting. Once I started getting older and realizing the opportunities north western Wisconsin had to offer I started taking advantage of many different types of fishing and hunting. Now at 24 years old im not relaxing on a beach on spring break, im Chasing monster gobblers in the hardwoods. During the summer months im on the water setting hooks on large mouth bass, not sittin' next the the A.C. When fall rolls around, I fall back in love with the crazy chase after green heads and honkers. Waterfowl hunting has grown to be my main love in the outdoors and it's been so great to learn and share that experience with some great friends. It's truely a pleasure being able to spend time in the outdoors with friends and family that share that same passion as you do and meet many great people along the way. Im very excited to be apart of Marsh Outdoors and have the oportunity to learn and grow as a sportsman with guys like me. It's hard to find a group of hunters that pride themselves on ethical hunting, family, friends, and true love for what they do. Only a few good reasons to why I will always be rockin' Team MO gear.

Hiking through the woods in northern Wisconsin at a young age hunting and fishing with my dad, I learned that being in the outdoors is a good way to stay out of trouble and a constant challenge to outsmart that next whitetail. I eventually moved to Iowa and that challenge got a little easier to see those big bucks although killing them is a different story. I am 20 years old with a beautiful daughter, and girlfriend who sometimes get fed up with my fall habits in the woods but encourage me yet! Filming and hunting for Marsh Outdoors opened a great opportunity for me to show everyone the ups and downs of my season and the friends I will meet along the way.

Since I was a youngster, running around in the woods is what I did.   I even had imaginary friends that I called my huntin’ buddies.  Then at age 8, I started tagging along with my dad and his friends on their hunting adventures and from those trips I was hooked.  I just don’t think anyone knew how hooked I really was.  My love for hunting has definitely grown to be more than a hobby, pastime or even an obsession.  It is my life!  Now in my mid-twenties my love for the outdoors has led me to pursue a career as a wildlife biologist.  In my life I have been lucky enough to pursue game in 13 different states.  Some of my most memorable hunts include; caribou and waterfowl hunting in Alaska, turkey and elk hunting in Colorado, chasing snow geese all across the map and chasing just about everything throughout the Midwest.  In 13 years of hunting I have hunted more than most do in 50 and I feel extremely lucky to be able to say that.  My dedication to the outdoors and hunting has made my life what it is today; I can only imagine what my future holds for me.

I'm a small town farm boy from southern wisconsin. The outdoors have always been a way of life for me, its where I work and where I play. Growing up hunting and fishing were a bit like the forbidden fruit, that I had to have, milking cows or field work seem to always get in the way. As years pass and the cows have gone the fruit is sweeter than ever, and yet work still gets in the way! I graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 2009 with a wildlife ecology and biology degree. Since then I have been working in wild turkey research for the better part of the past two years while continuing to farm crops around the Monroe area. I'm a fur feather fin kind of guy if you have any of the above I'm coming for you! If I had to choose a favorite I would have to pick the big ole fat southern wisconsin thunder chicken! I love to call em close, listen to them spit and drum and flop around after a successful hunt!
